About me
I’m Laurens Nieuwendijk, a photographer based in the Netherlands capturing authentic moments across communities and cultures.
My journey began unexpectedly during my Cyber Security studies at the University of Applied Sciences. While working for HvA Pride, an organization representing queer students, I discovered my passion for documenting the vibrant life around me.
Since then, my work has grown to include major events like Pride Amsterdam (2021-2023), municipal openings, and Formula 1 weekends at Spa over the past four years. In May 2023, my photographs were featured in the Skateboard City exhibition at the Van Eesteren Museum, showcasing queer skateboard organizations in Amsterdam.
Today, I work across automotive photography, live shows, events, and portraits. I’m drawn to the raw energy of performances, the speed and precision of motorsports, and the intimacy of capturing individual stories.
